Social Work Services
The school social worker at Cedar Riverside provides services to any
students who may be experiencing struggles that interfere with or impede
their educational performance.

within the classroom setting and related curriculum.

Special EducationSpecial Education is a support service for students who have not been successful when given instruction within the regular education classroom. Special Education services are offered to student that have a learning disability, speech/language disability or have needs in the emotional/behavioral areas.
English as a Second Language Program
The English as a Second Language Program (ESL) is intended to give non-native English speaking students additional assistance in learning English. The ESL Program is designed to prepare students to listen, speak, read, and write independently in academic classes such as language arts, science, social studies, and mathematics.
